Can You Freeze Bok Choy?

While a lot of veggies can survive being frozen, some are easier to freeze than others.

Bok choy, a Chinese cabbage relative, seems to fall into the latter category.

It can be frozen whole and stored, although you’ll have to check for discoloration since cold temperatures will cause it to wilt.

Bok choy cooks up just fine when you buy it for stir-fries, and it’s a great substitute for traditional iceberg lettuce in dishes such as Asian slaw and salads.
