Happy Valentine’s Day from TMBL, I hope it is full of love and laughter and all that good stuff.
Hubs and I are going out to eat tonight, on the grounds that seeing me sweating over a hot stove is the stuff of nightmares rather than romantic bliss.
If you are brave enough to cook for your significant other, I’ve a few gluten-free, tasty treats that might fill the gap:
- Last year, I told hubs I loved him with Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake.
- Then, for our anniversary, I rolled out these Mocha Chocolate Hearts.
- For his birthday he was presented with Chocolate Marble Torte.
(yep, it’s a wonder that hubs maintains his lean physique what with all the pie I’m cramming into his face.)
And finally, in case you missed it this week, I made him these Truffles… because love isn’t just for the big holidays, its also for every minute of every day as well.

Oh my goodness those sea otters are adorable! Squeallll!!!
I did squeal when I saw this and, I’m not gonna lie, there may have been tears in my eyes.
Happy Valentine’s Day! Sounds like you two have a great plan to celebrate. And the eats? Oh my goodness, they sound amazing. I’m going to try my hand at making an irish cream mousse tonight. It’s one of my favorite desserts from a local restaurant and I’ve been dying to recreate it.
Happy V-day to you too Audrey! Your irish cream mousse sounds sublime. I’m a BIG fan of everything sweet, creamy and vaguely alcoholic
Happy Valentine’s Day! The otters are so cute
